The Safe Streets Subcommittee is vested with the support of the neighborhood. They represent 1900 households

The Subcommittee is responsible for:

• Listening to neighborhood complaints, aggregating data, and following up where appropriate. This also includes recommending whether and how to escalate their reports.

• Following the progress of street safety projects that directly impact our neighborhood.

• Developing a relationship with the folks in city government who can speak to or impact street safety

• Developing a relationship with other street safety organizations, including:

  • Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee

  • Mountain View Streets for All

  • Safe Mountain View

  • Great Streets Mountain View

• Reporting to the Steering Committee on neighborhood concerns and progress.
